Hi Guys, Temple Schneider Callahan here, with
Connect Real Estate Services. I have a great Seller Question for you, regarding
FHA Amendatory Clause. This is a form that has to be signed by sellers
if you sell your home to a buyer who is using an FHA loan. So the question is, does the seller have to
sign the FHA Amendatory Clause? Yes. The seller does have to sign the FHA Amendatory
Clause. They don’t have to do it immediately, but
they have to do it before Close of Escrow. So, the reason that this person is asking
this is probably because they are just now waking up to the realization that an FHA loan
has some strict guidelines and hoops that the sellers sometimes have to jump through. So, they’re probably wondering if they have
to go through with this, but if the buyers that they agreed to sell their home to, can
only qualify for an FHA loan, then yes, they do have to sign the FHA Amendatory Clause. Hope that helps. Have a great day!
