dogs barking people fighting hypodermic syringes everybody’s terrified baleia Blanca’s opinion immune diabla didn’t super mercado de la droga [Music] for the past few years criminal gangs have been squatting in flats in Barcelona to sell the news drugs turning them into so-called narco pieces since 2016 more than a hundred flats have been occupied by these banks most of them are in the Ravel area in the heart of Barcelona emitting some of the rival’s residents to find out how the narco pieces impact on their daily lives i peligro de agresión porque sí porque vuela cola kado Elverta alguien t da de el suelo cola Haringey ik lavada peleas bronchus opinion aminos ni s a little piece of a monocot Ravi contains air power adidas no swallowed a casa por el peligro catering again poor detrás de gloire a lo o tiempo de praga oku part appear en de llamado el barrio pero bueno vamos a a harken was lowering el barrio de los vecinos sie Rica is one of the affected residents whose flat was broken into four months ago and occupied by a drug gang so this is my flan yeah so this is where they broke into my doorframe and this is what they put on instead I can hear the in there probably on breakfast or something yeah yeah you’re nervous right now that’s all how just sorry I mean you bought a flat I bought a flat it was one of the cheapest flats I could find I’m a single mother so I bought it as an investment for my daughter my tenant went back to his country back to Sweden for a couple of weeks and then BOOM he came home and he called me we’ve got squatters then what do we do so what would you do I called the police first of all and said what do I do they said you come in and make a formal complaint with your owner documents tomorrow and we will get them out I thought that was job done so I went in they were very nice to me they went round to the apartment and then they called me into the station and said you’re gonna need a judicial order to get them out so I decided I would go and see them as well what happened the first guy was very calm he said no and then a guy got up behind him he had a bottle of mineral water he smashed it against the wall and he just held it there without saying a word to me behind the other guy so I left so then I got myself very quickly to the port’s so the judge has to then give you a court date and order the police to come and throw them out and this can take weeks it can take months it sounds crazy to me that it can take months for the police to throw illegal squatters out so to find out why this process takes I’m meeting Barcelona security commissioner we must study mr. 1. It seems highly likely that the lack of prosecution is due to corruption. It isn't a coincidence that the flats are mainly owned by foreign investors so the political will to help the homeowners may not be very strong. Then you have civil servants making mediocre salaries and a depressed economy. I am sure there is corruption all over the place. I bet homeowners nearby sell for well below market and those in the know can jump on the deal without worrying about it happening to them.

  2. if you break in my house in the US, Im going to shoot you in the head, twice just for good measure, then throw your infested body out on the streets

  3. Panw apo to papa ke thn astynomia ine o stratos ke sto strato den borun na se kanun apolitos tpt para mono na enhmerwsoun to geniko epiteleio stratou

  4. LMAO they actually think that the drug addicts are smart and only keep small amounts to avoid getting big bust. Dude…Hello… they are squatting they cannot afford big amounts of drugs. These are people who have lost their way and have no means of surviving to live the lifestyle that they've been cast into or chosen.

  5. Europe is so fuking worthless. Just one huge continent of turds to be flushed. I cannot believe they have to find out if drugs are present in order to get trespassers the hell off someone's property. Can you be any weaker, more useless, and waste more skin and oxygen than these people? Don't ever ever have the balls to criticize America again Europe. No wonder we left there to try over again. At least Americans are smart enough to keep our guns so that we can kill motherfukers like this that trespass into our homes.

  6. politcos are just lazy sacks of shit that do nothing but suck up taxpayer money they have zero interest in doing any actual work . its the same in every country around the world . parasites

  7. As soon as you heard they took the house call all your male friends / family members en go beat them out of your casa. That is the only thing that works.

  8. I like what they done to Europe so inspired we need more Merkels in the world I wanna walk out my front door straight into the Calais jungle camp we live in the age of true visonarys macron Merkel may
Junker they done great things they will go down as legends
At least all your kids kids will be muslims so don't worry they won't be alcoholics and pork eaters

  9. Here goes Vice once again. All part of the media machine that paints pharmacopeia in a bad light, all for clicks, and ratings. Most drug use is done in a responsible manner, but we will never hear that side from media hounds like Vice.

  10. Even the junkie at about 6:00 is like 'why the fuck doesn't the judge send the cops there to kick them out?' lol

  11. I'm pretty sure this shit wouldn't fly in the USA, if the owner doesn't shoot them the police will lol Murica'

  12. I bet the dealer's are not locals.but the addict's are .!?? refugees love these stop off countries to make some money before going to England

  13. Big man was shiteing himsel st the flat door so he says to the lady

"I feel you are nervous. Let's go"

    🤣🤣🤣

  14. Funny, the more liberal and multi cultural a place becomes, the worse it gets for its residents, take Brighton in the |UK..really liberal massive drugs and homeless problem… London seen as liberal and 75% immigrants now and its a really shity place in alot of areas now…

  15. The thing i like about America is that you can shoot any animal who steps into your home….that should solve the problem

  16. Why the police don't killing drugs dealers???? Then I hope all the police and judges their children's that they are only care will soon turn to drugs smoking and they will fill how pain it curse of family's..they should start killing this animals..

  17. Sairica needs some Toxic Masculinity in her life to stay there and bust some heads when the junkies come around.

  18. Why not lie and just say they threatened you with a gun. That's the only way to get cops to do anything. Get mugged with a knife say gun. No waiting on a judge if firearms are involved.

  19. If you have proof of ownership and she doesn't want them there, they should be arrested for trespassing and whatever else evidence they find and jailed! That is ridiculous! Sounds like a corrupt government!

  20. Its the same situation everywhere when people wont leave your investment property. You have to go to court and get an order. This was very annoying for my mother bc our tennants hadn’t paid for 6 months.

  21. The city is highly unsafe at the moment, summer 2019. The crime has evolved, and it has become more violent.
Where there were pickpockets now there are robbers and several people have been stabbed while opposing resistance. The local authorities are involved in the protection of the criminals due to ideological convictions and the lack action to reverse the situation is worsening the problem. This fact has driven the atmosphere to the point of being a highly not recommendable city. Additionally, the murders are skyrocketing, 12 already this year in a city that used to have no more than 1-2 per year.

  22. In America this is breaking and entering, and burglary, and trespassing. 5 seconds and the cocksuckers are in jail.
And if the police dont handle it? I'll get my gun and take care of it myself. There is NO WAY I would tolerate what you call squatters. (That only happens in anandonded buildings here.)

  23. Vice didn’t actually go into one of the occupied flats and secretly buy some and report on the purity then??

Very courteous to offer raw injectable cocaine or crack to go with your heroin tho I must say.

  24. So why the mayor of the Barcelona city cares more about not letting tourist in the city ( I know the reasons against too much tourist in Barcelona) but not solving this bigger problem about foreign drug criminals?
I'm honestly really interested what real Barcelonians are thinking about this, because about 150k people marched against tourist coming to their city last year…

  25. Its not new. Barcelona is one of the citY in eu who have the most heroin und cocaine and best quality.
Its a very good city to make holiday.

  26. People talkin about renting goons, maybe these people don't know about these illegals if you beat up their guys the same way they did to you it will be way much worse when they'll come second time and I bet you don't want it.

  27. This is why you need a criminal element that's on the "right side" to be available. In Eastern Europe, you'd have guys go into the apartment, beat the junkies and they'd never be seen there again. In western Europe you'd have thousands of hours wasted over something so simple.

  28. There is a reason these pathetic law practices are but in place… It is to create and INDUSTRY for the courts, the public lawyers, politicians and NGO´s… All at the expense of the tax payer and the public security…

By the way…. MOST of the people in these drug flats, are not even europeans.. How´s that refugees welcomed here working out for you now???

And no… NOT ALL. But WAY to many—-

  29. Could not be a more typical Catalan government response. "There is something terribly wrong and illogical in our government = must be the fault of the foreigners."

  30. Spain is the worst country to own property in if your foreign. My boss owns an apartment re rents to a Spanish retired couple. They once decided to stop paying rent, took two years to kick them out and they faced no repocousions

  31. WOOOOAH this is not even that old. I just visited Barca in October 2018 someone tried to sell me drugs as well aha I recognize some of these places it’s soo cool it feels like I’m a part

  32. This is one of the most ridiculous things that I have ever seen and it`s a perfect example of how horrible life can be even in big cities that hundreds of thousands of people want to visit every season.
I bet that stuff like this doesn`t happen even in far away God forgotten places so I was extremely surprised to learn that Barcelona had such a problem.
At the end of the day it all comes down to narcotics again and sadly I personally do not see a way out of the situation.
Some uninformed people are quick to jump with the suggestion to legalise drugs but how is a state even going to do that? Ban the people who have substance abuse issues from getting those drugs? They can easily hire another guy to buy it for them! In addition – the ''big dogs'' in the business are never going to allow the legalisation of those substances because that way everyone can hop up on their train and start selling drugs as well.
Even if a legalisation does happen – many people will start their own businesses retailing that stuff and when there is competition everybody will be fighting for more customers thus reducing the prices of their products and the result will just be cheaper drugs out there on the streets for everybody to enjoy willingly.
So even in this made up scenario nothing will change at the end of the day.

In conclusion all I can say is that I hope that the people around me and around everybody who is reading this stay away from drugs and everything revolving them because there is no winning in this game.

  33. All of these pathetic stories that Vice does so painfully how stupid it is that people don't own guns. How stupid people are to live in a country that doesn't allow guns. In America this would never stand. We come home to someone in our house and we exterminate them.

  34. Hey, Portugal decriminalized hard drugs. Do that in Barcelona, it solves every problem. If they eliminate vacant flats in the city, the scum will move out of the center city a bit. They won't go far.

  35. This is what happen when European law makers are busy condemning other countries of human rights violation….
Just work like Duterte of Philippines n these scums would disappear like ice cubes in boiling water……

  36. I have a cousin who lives in Barcelona,Catalonia…she says the situation is getting worse & worse, gangs, drug addicts, crime etc…but…the excuse the police uses."put in a complaint", "judicial order",takes months-year…and when the police finally comes in to do what should have been done long ago…and arrest them…they get released soon after ??? WTF ??? Is it just me? Or is it that obvious? Clearly someone or many are getting a percentage of the thousands, hundred thousands,& probably millions of Euros being made on a daily weekly,&monthly basis…from the Heroin,& Cocaine.Like the Cammorra in Naples each apartment suite, floor, and block is worth thousands…millions of Euros, drugs are sold 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week ,365 a year.Huge cash maker, and always everyone gets their cut of the $ from the guy watching the door, kids playing outside the police, and judge…!! It's sooo…obvious !! Even when they get arrested they are let go not to lang after ?
Had it been an independence movement for Catalonia,or a group peacefully marching to demonstrate their right, for sovereignty and independence from Spain….cops would be in with tear gas, clubs, boots, ready to beat law abiding citizens, and throw them in jail !! Just ask what happened to the Catalan Independence Movement ? Or they're waiting for a "judicial order","complaint"…??

  37. 1:50 the woman is 100% composed and the the guy is like "I feel you're nervous now" 😛

She could whoop his butt with a q-tip.
